Advocacy

Our trails are becoming busier than ever. Be courteous out there, use common sense, & make good decisions. Treat other trail users with the same respect you would like them to give you. Mountain biking is supposed to be fun!

Respect the Trail & Other Trail Users

Be Courteous

Be nice & say Hi! Make good decisions.

Yield to Other Users

Mountain Bikers should yield to equestrians & trails user on foot. Downhill riders should yield to uphill riders (unless the trail is a designated downhill trail). Common courtesy always applies.

Respect the Trails

Please do not ride muddy trails. Ride through puddles, not around them. Stay on designated trails, & don't cut switchbacks.

Leave No Trace

Do not litter. Pick up after your pets. Do not disturb wildlife.

Bells on Bikes

We strongly encourage all mountain bikers to use bells on their bikes. There are cheap bells, expensive bells, continuously-ringing bells, and decorative bells. All the cool kids are using them!

Be In Control

Ride within your skillset. Slow down when riding blind corners. If you have to skid to prevent hitting someone, you're going to fast.
